Paige grew into adolescence playing

pick-up baseball with their kid neighbors and illustrating comics about their suburban adventures with Prismacolor colored pencils. From their hometown of McKinney, Texas, Paige went off to Wesleyan University in Connecticut and received a B.A in American Studies. They have been nannying in New York City since graduation.

Through nannying and their participation in online parenting communities, Paige learnt of and committed to Respectful Parenting/Caregiving. Paige is passionate about helping other caregivers through challenging and uncomfortable situations with their children in relation to race, gender, disability and more.

At 28, Paige hasn’t stopped playing. They enjoy setting up invitations to play for their nanny children, building structures with their blocks, and helping other caregivers/parents learn the value of neurodiversity and play.
